Went here while visiting the area (I have family that lives at the lake). They were having some sort of American-Idol-like talent contest thing going on. Pretty entertaining. The place was huge! Like, double story huge. The bar was massive also. Tons of tbs everywhere. Probably a really good place to watch sports. I didn't order food or a drink, so don't know about that. But just for the aura of it all, I'd give it a 3.

The wife and I stopped here cause we had some time to waste and wanted a drink. They had both brands of beer that we wanted and it was really cold. The service was ok and friendly. The food was ok but the fries were lame. The bar, bathroom and stage looked rundown and needs to be redone.

I was there last night with friends...really disappointed that they charged me 3 different prices for the same drink! And all were too much. I've never paid $11 for a drink in Los Vegas or New York but was charged that for a small watered down crown and seven last night. Three "Vegas Bomb" shots were $21! This after paying $5 to get in to hear a cover band. It's crazy smoky inside and it took forever to get my overpriced drinks.

My husband and I were in town during the shoulder season for tourism, so it was hard to find things to do (it was just a bit too early for the season to be up and going). We came to Bootlegger's for a talent contest that they run, called "Lake Idol." We agreed that we wouldn't stay very long, in case the talent was a little too painful to listen to. We ended up staying until close to midnight! There are some enormously talented singers living in the area. It was "oldies" night, so the music selection was varied and interesting. Our food and drinks were good, and we also received excellent service from a very hardworking waitress. We had an enormously enjoyable evening, and wish we lived close enough to return for the remaining weeks of that contest.

The burgers were good BUT the menu says the burger comes with a side of chips, fries or a side salad. I ordered the side salad and they charged $2 for it. When we questioned the waitress about it she saiys 'yeah, they changed that, it's confusing'. Also, we ordered a Jameson on the rocks, they charged $5 for the Jameson and $1.50 for the ice. The bill actually itemized Rocks-$1.50. On that the waitress says 'yeah, it's ridiculous'. Yes, it is. Watch your bill!

The food was great. Service was really slow. The place is also really smokey. They have a breathalyzer... Oh and if you go upstairs be careful coming back down. The last step is a doozy!

We were not fans. The service was extremely slow, the food was mediocre, and in general, there are other places to go. But since this was the only place with the mizzou game on pay-per-view, it did the trick.

Very good food, I had the fish n' chips while friends had the alfredo and other items. Alex, our server did a great job and checked on us for drinks even after we paid our dinner tab, which seems to be an issue in the Lake area. Dueling pianos on Fri and Sat nights if you're into that. Drink specials. Good place to go if in the area.

Nice place - good food. Great place to watch the big game. Over 15 flat screen tv's. Note- not on the lake

About the best food in Osage Beach and at reasonable prices with good daily specials. Outstanding friendly service. Usually they have pretty good entertainment at night. Mostly local crowd with few tourists for the area.

Ordered a "Real Deal' plate. menu said grilled shrimp, crab claw meat and wine/slash cheese sauce. It was imitation crab, 2 pieces of diced shrimp, cheese on a flat stale bread shell. * inches across, fries were extra, tab WITHOUT beverage $16.10. When I called the waitress and asked about the false representation on the menu, she shrugged and left, no further word. I've been a restaurant owner for decades and bouncy bartenders and special events will draw business for only so long.If the food and service suck, which here they indeed do, you'll be out of business soon. I hope. Overpriced, lousy tasteless falsely represented food and disinterested service. Go elsewhere and save money...Ironic that it was called the 'real-deal'
